3 quick winter tips to keep your hair from falling flat under your hat

Brrrr it’s that time of year again. Wool coats and winter hats. Hold on girls hats? You need them to keep you warm but you can still have awesome hair and not get flat hat hair. In the winter hair tends to fall flat because of the cold air and from your hat and/or earmuffs. On top of that hair tends to get a little dry. Let’s just say winter can make it hard to have bouncy beautiful locks. Here are a few steps to take to help your hair stay full of life and shiny in these cold months.

  1. Use a volumizing shampoo even if you have a lot of hair. It will help to plump up your roots and give you lift.
  2. Use a volumizing product like mousse or root spray. This will give your hair some hold and help keep it’s style so your hat doesn’t flatten your hair out.
  3. Double up on your conditioning treatments. If you usually do a treatment once a week make it twice. If you do a treatment every two weeks change it to once a week. If you don’t do any at all… get on it girl. Find a conditioning treatment you like a start doing it once a week.

Hope these three little steps help you have the perfect holiday hair. If you have any questions always feel free to leave a comment or send me an email. STAY WARM OUT THERE!
